Multi-channel Maintenance
ASH-Booking allows activating maintenance mode separately for each channel, without stopping the entire system.
Available Channels
- Admin Backend — Admin panel (for non-supervisors)
- Mobile App — iOS/Android applications
- Booking Web Forms — Public booking forms
- Realtime Calendar — Public branch calendars
Configure Maintenance
Only Supervisors can activate maintenance:
- Go to Settings → Maintenance
- For each channel you can:
- Activate/deactivate maintenance mode
- Enter a custom message in Italian
- Enter a custom message in English
- (Optional) Automatically translate the text
- Save the settings
What Users See During Maintenance
When a channel is under maintenance:
- Admin backend: Non-supervisor users see a status page instead of the panel
- Mobile app: Users receive an error message instead of data
- Web forms: Users see the maintenance page instead of the form
- Calendars: Users see the maintenance page instead of the calendar
Note: Supervisors can always access the backend even during maintenance to make changes.
Maintenance for Single Branch
The calendar can also be put under maintenance for a single branch:
- Go to Branches → [Branch Name] → Settings
- Set the Calendar Status to "Under maintenance"
- Save
Best Practice
Before activating maintenance:
- Notify users if possible (email, notice)
- Choose low-traffic times
- Keep the time window as short as possible
- Deactivate immediately after completion
